Poor Anne, getting her head chopped off and everything. Love the dignity on her face and crown of graphic elements. Although she was treated more like a chess piece than a person, she truly was the queen. I'm using this as my desktop image btw, and I'm very happy.
I was gonna ask you about the water soluble oils but I see someone else already has. I've worked with oil before but I'm not to keen on the supplies required but I also like that it's reworkable. I love watercolor though. Wondering if the water soluble oils would be a good medium for me.
this is really great! I'm definitely enjoying the geometric shapes and paterns against the softer organic figure work.
Also, How are you enjoying the water soluble oils? I feel I would like using them with acrylic more then gouache, and being water soluble would make them much easier to work with. But I haven't tried or met anyone that has given them a fair shake so for now it's just theory on my part.
