Love it! I just love the dirty touch. your technique is so perfectionistic that if it was without the "dirt" it would be just another pop art work (amazingly done, but still..). I love how you are not afraid to "ruin" the beauty, and that's what makes it not only beautiful, but great.
The final touches are always the most tricky, especially when the whole work looks great already, because it's either making it much better or completely destroying all the hard work you've done so far. so I understand the frustration, but it was worth it!
Mannn do I love your work! Hahah, everything you post makes me go a little slack-jawed. :3 I am so, so jealous, yet I don't have even a fraction of the drive or discipline to get to your kind of artistic level (at least, not at this point in my life, hahah). Anyway-! I love watching you create and experiment, and I'm sure your show will be a smash hit! Good luck and have fun~ <3
i don't really like the expression of her face but the technique is amazing. i've always wanted to do some paintings with flat surroundings and realistic portrait, but i've had a problem with oil paints since they're too slow for me and i get bored of slow work. hope your show turns out great!
