SO if you follow me on twitter you saw that I totally botched the first piece...
So this is the second one, it's a bit smaller and I'm doing things a bit differently.
First I redrew the entire thing including finishing the flowers, making her eyes more life like and tweaking the entire bone structure.

I'm still painting on paper but I switched to a greenish-grey tone of Rives bfk rather then the white I started with.
I also started with a watercolor base coat.
AND so far there is NO color pencil, it's all those water-soluble wax pastels I mention in my prior post (the red piece, not the sexy chef)

I'm pretty confident I'll nail the skin tone now, but I'm still not sure what I'm gonna do with the flowers...we'll see I guess, I'll get to em soon.
